1. Home page redesign
Nicole has been working on a rough mock-up of the Libraries' home page, incorporating some of the ideas and principles we've been developing. She shared what she'd done, and WAG spent most of the meeting brainstorming usability, layout, and content improvements. We want to be sure our basic requirements are clear before we send out RFPs to possible designers.2. Vera interface changes
We spent time in the Vera test area, reviewing recent changes and possibilities for improvements. Soon, Nicole will contact stakeholders, give them Test Vera access information, and solicit feedback on proposed improvements.3. Test Vera with titles imported from SFX
Nicole will import new SFX data into Test Vera over the next few days, and WAG, along with Peter Cohn and Patty Durisin, will conduct further tests, comparing data from SFX with our data in BELL. WAG is hopeful that, if the SFX data loads into Vera are completely successful, and the amount of work to support the import process each month is reasonable, we may be able to recommend to NERD the discontinuation of the Serials Solutions product (BELL).
