SFX/Verde Meeting
Atteending: Ellen Duranceau, Nicole Hennig, Jennifer Edwards, Kim Maxwell,
Beth Siers, Rich Wenger (minutes)
1. We reviewed the revised draft of the Interim Report. Ellen
noted suggested changes and will revise and circulate new draft via
email for additional comments.
2. We decided that Ellen, Nicole, and Tracy should be the
presenters at the DLG/TSAC meeting.
3. Nicole and Ellen presented diagrams of options 1 and 2 for
consideration. Nicole will convert the drawings to graphic images for
use at the DLG/TSAC meeting and for inclusion in the
Interim Report.
4. Nicole reported on SFX progress in WAG:
- FullText Finder rolled out today
available in many locations on the library's web pages
- new page of explanatory text about Google Scholar
removed Display Logic rules that were causing problems
- decided not to roll out SFX's Endnote and Refworks support until
certain bugs are fixed that affect conference proceedings.
5. We discussed the upcoming (Thurs.) meeting with the
piggybacking group:
- we will all review the piggybacking report prior to the
meeting
- Issues of timing are a concern. We need to ensure that
the implementation of Barton as an SFX source,
Verde, MarcIt, etc. do not interfere with other processes.
