1. Charge
We reviewed and discussed the charge. 2. Group process
A. Decision making: Consensus
Fallback if we can't reach consensus:
- user interface decisions - usability test
- facilitators will decided if operational issue
- bring both sides to management if it's a large issue that we're divided
on
B. Minutes
- Internal group minutes will be posted on the staff web and NOT sent
to all-lib.
- Announcements to all-lib as needed. Decide whether we have any announements
during summing up at end of each meeting. (Refer people to detailed
minutes if they are interested in details).
- Rotate who takes minutes. When subgroups divide, someone voluteers
to do minutes for the other subgroup.
- Send emailed (text only, not attachments) minutes to the group (sfx-verde).
Kim will also post them on our staff web site.
C. Group structure
Larger group always meets, breakouts into subgroups as needed. Whole
group comes together at end of each meeting for summing up.
Possible subgroups:
Verde/ERM: Ellen, Kim, Beth, Jennifer, Rich
SFX: Nicole, Tracy, Millicent, Graham, Jennifer, Rich
Overlapping members will attend relevent subgroups as needed (we'll
decide each time, depending on the topic). D. Absences: When possible, send your thoughts to the group about various
decisions if you know you'll be gone. Decisions can and will be made
without you when abscences occur. We'll use the group's best judgement
for what can be decided with or without a particular member.
E. Agenda-planning:
Nicole and Ellen will meet between meetings to plan the agenda and send
it out a few days in advance of each meeting.
We'll maintain a "parking lot" list for ideas that come up
that we need to address in the future.
