If it is not at an MIT Library, where should I go?

    http://web.mit.edu/cp/www/lost_found.htm- The police at MIT are responsible for lost and found items on campus. Lost items from everywhere in the Institute are eventually turned over to the Police at MIT by the libraries, Department of Facilities workers, and individuals. This link leads to an online lost item form.

If I think it was stolen, where should I go?

    Reporting Thefts: call Campus Police, General business 617.253.1212, AND report theft to the local Library Head.
