SUPPLY REQUESTS

Preservation Services provides many supplies to other MIT Libraries Departments for special projects and to support ongoing workflows. You can contact Nick Szydlowski to obtain the following supplies:

  • Archival envelopes for small to medium sized projects
  • Barcode label stock and ribbon for Zebra TLP 3842 thermal printers (barcode duplicators)
  • Call number labels
  • Cotton tying tape (for tying the bindery knot)
  • Disaster Response Kits (React Paks) and replacements for used items from a Disaster Response Kit
  • Security strips for journals, books, CDs or DVDs

If you are in need of other preservation-related supplies or tools for a project, please feel free to contact us. If we cannot provide you with what you need, we will be happy to help you find an appropriate vendor.
