LAB TOUR: The E. Martin & Ethel Wunsch Conservation Laboratory

Virtual tour of Preservation Services

In 2002, the MIT Libraries were able to expand the Conservation Lab due to generous support from E. Martin (1944) and Ethel Wunsch, an anonymous donor, and the Institute. The lab space was completely renovated and increased in size from 1740 to 2660 square feet. This expansion allowed the preservation program to add conservation treatment for the rare book collection, manuscript collections, and archival records of the Institute.
