Advisory Committee on Workplace Issues
Charge:
- Act
to effect positive change from within the MIT Libraries for the continued
growth and improved quality of worklife for all library employees.
- Identify
issues that have a significant impact on the work environment and workplace
relations of the MIT Libraries and its staff.
- Advise
the library administration on programs or resources addressing these
issues.
- Coordinate
the delivery of these programs or accessibility of these resources to
library staff as directed by the library administration.
- Offer
the program, "What do you think?" aimed at creating awareness
of the Institute's policy on harassment and illustrating difficulties
inherent in defining harassment.
