The MIT Libraries' Communications Program:

  • Increases the visibility of the MIT Libraries through a program of user-centered, two-way communication by keeping the MIT community and others informed of library services, collections, activities, events, and research
  • Encourages and responds to feedback from the community
  • Participates in the Libraries' resource development program
  • Handles media relations
  • Supports and coordinates library staff in developing communications plans for projects, rolling out new products and services, creating brochures and publicity materials
