The MIT Libraries' Communications Program:
- Increases the visibility of the MIT Libraries through a program of user-centered,
two-way communication by keeping the MIT community and others informed of
library services, collections, activities, events, and research
- Encourages and responds to feedback from the community
- Participates in the Libraries' resource development program
- Handles media relations
- Supports and coordinates library staff in developing communications plans
for projects, rolling out new products and services, creating brochures and
publicity materials
- Administers Libraries' publications program, including
MIT Libraries Communications Program
