Barcodes

There are likely many ways to obtain barcodes in the MIT Libraries, but here are some of the ways. If you have additions or corrections, please contact Lisa Harrington, lisapisa@mit.edu

Barcode Type Where to get them
Single barcodes for monographs (no red stripe) Monograph Acquisitions
Single barcodes for serials (red stripe)

Serials Acquisitions (contact your SerAcq Liaison, or Lisa directly)

Note: SerAcq last ordered them in Summer 1998 from Ruth Davies in Administrative Services. We have TONS, and probably won't need to order again for years.

Double barcodes (for both monographs and serials)

Melissa Feiden, in LSA, has double barcodes for both serials and monographs.

Beth Brennan, in CAMS also has double barcodes for monographs

Piggy back barcodes (double barcodes with one on top of the other)

Lisa Harrington in ALS has the serial piggyback barcodes

Derek Clemens in CAMS has the monograph piggyback barcodes
