The Cataloging and Metadata Services Department is responsible for the cataloging of monographs, serials, special collections, and the maintenance of the Aleph bibliographic database. Additionally, the department offers metadata consultation and production services. The department is comprised of the Monograph Cataloging Unit, the Serials Cataloging Section, the Database Maintenance Section, the MIT Publications Cataloging Unit, and the Metadata Unit. The department is in Building 14, in Room 14E-210B.
