Collection Management Group

Group Charge

1. To plan, implement, and monitor processes that ensure the appropriate and efficient development and management of the Libraries' collections, including policy statements, and selection, storage and preservation decisions.
2. To monitor and ensure the effective and full expenditure of the Libraries' materials funds.
3. To advise the Associate Director for Collection Services on policies related to collection developments and management.
4. To educate the Libraries' staff in matters related to collection development and management.
5. To share insights gained through liaison of libraries' staff with academic departments and research laboratories.
