We are leading the transformation of circulation services towards
a dynamic integration with information services. We are
developing circulation services which are interactive and intuitive to use
and which empower our users to be self-sufficient.
Mission Statement
We represent MIT Libraries staff and users by sharing circulation
concerns, communicating new ideas, and monitoring the quality of the
Libraries' environment and services.
We address system-wide issues by identifying the circulation needs
of our users, developing innovative solutions, and coordinating
their implementation.
We develop and assess common policies and procedures which serve
our users in a clear and consistent fashion.
We provide a forum for the communication of circulation matters
among circulation staff, library administration, other committees, and
the MIT Community.
We coordinate the collection of appropriate qualitative and
quantitative data in order to measure and enhance circulation
performance and services.
