Barton Advisory Group
March 18, 2005

Present: Charlene Follett (minutes,) Tracy Gabridge, Kim Maxwell, Georgiana McReynolds, Christine Moulen (chair,) Elke Pointek-Ma, Beth Siers, Rich Wenger.

Version 16 Testing
Functional groups reported that migrated data looks good, with the exception of a few display issues and many indexing issues. Moulen has fixed several of the display issues. The indexing problems have been reported to ExLibris for a fix. Serials Acquisitions still need to look at publication patterns; Circulation still needs to look at reserves.

Testing of workflows and manipulating data should be able to proceed the week of March 21.

To ease the tight schedule in DIRC, functional groups agreed to share scheduled times for testing and training.

Aleph scripts
Moulen needs to start working on scripts. Remainder of meeting was spent reviewing and prioritizing the list for her.

Moulen reported that Data Warehouse staff found only 5 fields had changed, mostly longer note fields; this should have little to no impact on our current Brio reports.

Next meeting: March 30, 1:30, Hayden Conference Room Minutes: Gabridge
