1. Due to a bad disk, the barton test server is being restored from the Sat.
backup. It is thought that only Oracle 9 & Aleph 16
will be affected.
2. The discussion about Aleph 16 testing brought up the following points:
- McReynolds reports password errors in the new client, need to test this again
when the server is restored.
- Maxwell was able to view/demonstrate data for her staff
- we need another 2 weeks for testing before we change any data
- responses to the training:
- the circ testing group wants to go to DIRC to try out the new client
- some discussion about whether or not to do demos for other groups in the library;
we decided do one demo in each divisional library, and each demo is open to
the entire library staff. The sessions will be no longer than half an hour.
3. Christine would like to review functional areas of the Systems Librarian
doc with each BAG member. She will schedule individual
meetings.
4. NAAUG registration opens Friday, and at least 3 members of BAG are considering
attending
