Schering-Plough Library:
- Closing on June 11. The library will be physically moved during the week of June 14 - June 18.
- Existing orders encumbered against SPL budgets must be moved to Science. Kim will handle serials orders and Charlene will take care of monographs.
- Beth will handle the global changes, and Walter and Arnie will handle the merging of serial holdings after items have been re-shelved in the Science Library, expected to be in late June or early July..
- Christine will change the display of the name of Schering Plough in the OPAC whenever the move team is ready. It was also noted that changes to several individual web pages in the OPAC will need to be done at some point, removing SPL as a limit, etc...
New fines policy:
- Christine will make the requisite table changes on the test server (walter) later this week, then Georgiana will test.
Tracy reported that a project is underway to investigate eventual merging of Barker's and Science's journals.
It was announced that MIT signed the beta-test agreement for ERM, now known
as Verde. Because the time line of Verde's progress has implications for the
Aleph upgrade, BAG needs to keep in touch with these developments.
It was suggested that BAG should meet once per month for the summer. Christine will adjust the meeting dates in TechTime.
