Barton Advisory Group Minutes -- January 7, 2004

Present: Charlene Follett, Tracy Gabridge, Stephanie Hartman, Kim Maxwell, Georgiana McReynolds (minutes), Christine Moulen (chair), Elke Piontek-Ma, Beth Siers, Rich Wenger

1. BAG welcomed Elke as the new processing representative; we said a sad farewell to Stephanie and also expressed our appreciation for her service on the group.

2. Announcements

3. Stephanie reported that holding information for deleted Aero and Barker theses was still viewable in the OPAC. Christine will run a report to identify the records. Beth will make sure the records are suppressed or deleted. The action taken will depend on the number of records generated in the report.

4. Christine reported that everything was back to normal after the holiday break. No one reported any Barton or Aleph-related problems during the special holiday closing.

5. Christine asked BAG members to review the NAAUG enhancement requests. Each member will rank the top 5 that pertain to their area at the next BAG meeting. Christine must submit our votes to NAAUG by January 30. Enhancements approved this year by the NAAUG Steering Committee and ExLibris will be submitted for inclusion in version 17.

Next meeting: 1/21/04, 3:00 PM
