Updates:
Erja -- There are four bugs in "Your Account". Tracy and Erja met with Nina and decided "Your Account" would go up without both the RSC form going up and the ability for patrons to place their own holds. These features will come up with the no-frames version. Christine mentioned the problem of some patrons logging in and being met with a blank screen. Christine and Michael will look into problems with user passwords not being recognized at login sessions.
Michael - Circulation is working to clean up Item Process Statuses. Fines are now being charged for music CDs and it seems to be working. Michael will be checking in with Forrest to make sure things are going smoothly. Michael and Pat Page will continue identifying the next areas to turn the fines back on.
Kim -- Kim has been working with Joan and IS staff on reports from Aleph. The focus has been mainly on Acquisitions data, and will be moving to Serials data in the coming weeks. One concern is the lack of a claiming report during a time when most of our journal subscriptions have just been renewed. We may start to look at Aleph's canned report, which is far from perfect but might help us somewhat (at least in some libraries) for the very short term.
Beth -- Focusing on loader error reports.
Christine -- started working on a program to send overdues to AR/Bursers office. Started looking at link checking for our URLs.
Topic 1: Reports and the Data Warehouse
A lengthy and lively discussion regarding reports and the data warehouse took
place. The reports being focused on right now are dealing with financial information
and acquisitions data. Group clarified what exactly was going on to some confused
members of the group. This conversation will continue and we will invite Joan
Kolias and Georgiana McReynolds to an upcoming meeting to aid in this discussion.
Next meeting: Thursday, February 14th -- 9:30-11am
