Aleph Printing -- Font Too Large or Small

Here are the steps you need to take to adjust printer font sizes in Aleph.

  1. First, make sure Aleph is closed.
  2. Then, go to Start --> Run.
  3. Now type the following (or copy/paste) into the text box: c:\al500\alephcom\tab\alephcom.ini.
  4. Note: If this is not the default location for your Aleph directory, find the Aleph directory, open the Tab folder and then open the alphcom.ini file.
  5. About 12 lines down is Printfactor=# (6 by default). Change the number to adjust the print size, higher = larger print size, and save and close the alephcom.ini file.
  6. Restart Aleph and check the print size.
  7. If necessary, repeat the above steps.
