Shuttles

Shuttle services located near or connected with MIT

CambridgeSide Galleria Shuttle "The Wave" is an additional free service not listed on the MIT Shuttle page. It runs between the Kendall/MIT T-Stop, Kendall Theatre, and CambridgeSide Galleria. The "Wave" bus stop is located in front of the MIT Coop at 3 Cambridge Center, Kendall Square and runs every 20 minutes. Hours of operation: Monday - Saturday 9am-6pm; Sunday 12pm - 6pm.

Caravan for Commuters, Inc. Massachusettes' statewide commuter services organization, provides assistance to commuters looking for alternate modes of transportation.

Arrival by air (from Logan Intl Airport to the campus):

During rush hour allow at least an hour travel time. Public transportation from the airport to MIT is available. Although an inexpensive alternative, it is cumbersome with luggage.

The Boston Coach car service can provide a chauffeured limousine or a New Yorker sedan for travel between the airport and the hotel. To contact them call 800-672.7676. Provide the airline name, flight number and arrival time for best service.
